Craig Babineau is a Fort Collins, Colorado based drummer who currently plays for Euforquestra, Earth Like Twins and Smooth Beethoven. Craig has been playing drums for almost twenty years and continues to push himself everyday to become a better drummer and teacher. He has played hundreds of shows across the United States and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with Boyd Tinsley of The Dave Matthews Band, Kyle Hollingsworth of The String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, Congo Sanchez of Thievery Corporation, Todd Smallie of The Derek Trucks Band, Kevin Kinsella of John Brown’s Body, Miles Tackett of Breakestra, members of The Motet and many more prominent bands. He has also supported acts such as Maceo Parker(James Brown, Prince, P-Funk ), The Meter Men (members of The Meters & Phish), Toots & The Maytals, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The New Mastersounds, SOJA, Reel Big Fish, Sage Francis, Ozomatli, Nathan Maxwell (of Flogging Molly), Alan Evans Trio (of Soulive), and many more national and international acts. Craig recently recorded an album with Euforquestra entitled FIRE (produced by Kyle Hollingsworth) and has recorded custom drum tracks for companies like Monster Energy Drink, Spyder outwear, Dalbello Ski Boots and Match Stick Productions.
Craig offers professional private drum lessons at Music Go Round in Fort Collins, at students’ homes, his home studio and online video chat lessons via Skype. He has been teaching in northern Colorado since 2009 and has helped over one hundred drummers become better musicians and achieve their personal goals. He has extensive experience with kids and beginners, but also works with many experienced adult students. Whatever your age and skill level, Craig will help you take your drumming to the next level!
